There’s no doubt 2020 will be remembered (not fondly) for many things, but for UFO enthusiasts it was a year of renewed interest in ufology spurred on by the release of the Pentagon videos and the upward surge in sightings.
In fact, a 2020 YouGov survey resulted in 20% of Britons believing that aliens actually live among us. As the nation begins to look at the skies more intently, one company Fresh Student Living, has decided to help us out by creating a map of the UK’s UFO hotspots.
The map is based on 262 RAF reports from 2009, nevertheless it creates a good visual of mysterious activity which still may reflect hotspots today. As far as UFO maps go, it’s also very easy on the eye.
So where are the UK’s hotspots? Well it seems the south of the country fares better with London coming out on top with 54 sightings followed by Kent with 30.
