Top 5 UFO Books Of 2020

2020 has seen a sudden peak of interest in the UFO phenomenon and reported sightings are on the rise. The Spacex Starlink project, Pentagon’s UFO footage release and Covid-19 lockdowns are all thought to have contributed to the growing support for all things ET.

Of course, there’s some classic UFO reading material out there, but inspired by the new wave alien fans, we thought we’d give the rundown on some of the recently released UFO books that every ufologist should have in their collection.

#5 The Rendlesham Forest UFO Conspiracy: A Close Encounter Exposed as a Top Secret Government Experiment – Nick Redfern

One of the all time classic UFO encounters is taken for another spin, this time by well known writer and paranormal TV personality Nick Redfern. Everyone loves a bash at this story and we were skeptical this would be a re-hash of tired information, but actually Redfern bounces around some novel and interesting ideas that certainly give food for thought.

#4 Inside The Black Vault – Jr John Greenewald

Inside the black vault is a thoroughly researched and well presented investigation into secret inner workings of US Government. Often based directly from official documents results in a sometimes heavy, but undeniable factual exploration into the phenomenon. A must read for both newbee and seasoned ufologist.

#3 Onboard UFO Encounters: True Accounts of Contact with Extraterrestrials – Preston Dennett

Preston Dennett effectively accounts fifteen previous unpublished UFO abduction stories focussing solely on the events that took place once aboard the crafts. Although, the accounts lack the hard evidence to validate the claims, Dennett certainly knows how to engage and petrify his readers. Be sure to add this to your collection.

#2 Identified Flying Objects: A Multidisciplinary Scientific Approach to the UFO Phenomenon – Dr. Michael P Masters

Every UFO researcher worth their salt respects the importance of balance, hence why Dr. Masters well angled book makes our list. This is a fresh and unique approach to the UFO subject, backed by solid scientific evidence that encourages broad thinking for even the most stubborn ufologist. Strongly recommend!

#1 Somewhere In The Skies: A Human Approach To The UFO Phenomenon – Ryan Sprague

Originally released in 2016, the revisited and expanded edition was released in July 2020. As well as appearing regularly on paranormal TV shows, Ryan Sprague hosts the popular podcast also entitled Somewhere in the skies. Based on a collection of UFO sightings, where this book excels is the attention paid to the emotional aspect of the witness and the affect the sighting has had on their lives. Well written and sensitive approach to UFO investigation. A future classic.
